Backhandspring Tips

  • Lock your arms!
  • Don't undercut. Make your backhandspring long, but not so long that it looks flat
  • When your hands touch the floor, push off hard to get lots of power.
  • Snap your legs down quickly and try to get faster everytime!
  • Don't let your mental block scare you, you can do it!
  • Keep your legs straight and together
  • Push off your legs
  • Make sure your knees don't go over your toes while sitting back
