1. Do 50 jumping jacks. It's never good to stretch cold muscles until you are warmed up.
2. Sit in a straddle. Reach as far as you can to the right for 30 seconds. Reach as far as you can to the left for 30 seconds. Reach as far out as you can to the middle for thirty seconds. Try to get your nose to your knee and your chest to the floor. Don't forget to point your toes.
3. Stand up and touch your toes. Hold for 30 seconds.
4. Sit in a pike, point your toes, and reach as far as you can. Hold for 30 seconds.
5. Get into your splits and go as far down as you can. Try taking your hands off the ground and letting gravity push you down. If you want, have someone push you down! Stay in your splits for about 30 seconds to a minute.
6. Repeat all these steps until you get your splits!
7. Once you get your splits, don't stop stretching. It's possible to lose your splits if you stop stretching!
